Excellent and low cost [or free] care and treatment --- including HIV drugs --- is available in Napa County. Treatment guidelines, drug combinations, and clinical trials may be accessed through your medical provider or researched on the various web sites of interest. There are also other programs available in Napa to assist people living with HIV and/or AIDS to a better quality of life.

CARE Network HIV RN: 707-251-2013Case management program supports and assists Napa County residents who are HIV-positive or living with AIDS. A specialized team of healthcare professionals and client advocates. Services are free of charge and provided in English and Spanish.
Team includes registered nurses and licensed social workers available to meet with you or come to your home to assist with:
- early intervention medical services
- education
- nutrition and diet
- provide medical and psychosocial case management and support
- serve as liaison between you and your physician specialist
- help you to access health and social services resources and referrals.
Helps you identify, find and obtain the resources you need for:
- HIV/AIDS physician specialist
- TB Testing
- HIV medical clinic
- Respite care
- Medications
- Spiritual care
- Medical Equipment
- Psychotherapy
- Financial assistance
- Legal assistance
- Housekeeping services
- Emergency food
- Transportation
- Housing

Kaiser offers a variety of services for Kaiser members residing in Napa County. Call HIV PROGRAMS at 707-651-1448 for consults, referrals, and information.
M. Susan Beal, LCSW at 707-651-2330 is the HIV Coordinator for Solano and Napa County (including those members who receive services at Kaiser facilities in Fairfield, Napa, Vallejo, and Vacaville). Ms. Beale also runs HIV/AIDS relevant Support Groups for Kaiser Members at the Vallejo campus. Please contact her for information and availability on the current groups.
AIDS Medi-Cal Waiver Program
707-251-2000Allows Medi-Cal billing for services that Medi-Cal doesn't usually pay for in addition to regular Medi-Cal services. This program is available to Medi-Cal recipients who are HIV positive and have a predetermined level of care --- usually the need for some sort of supervision during the day. The CARE Network at administers this program.
Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA)

The HOPWA program provides housing and utility assistance for eligible people with HIV or AIDS. The CARE Network administers this program.
